1967
After receiving a Master degree of Agriculture from Osaka Prefecture University, he joined Kajima Corporation Inc. where he was engaged in development, planning, and landscape projects. While employed at Kajima Corporation he studied at the University of California at Berkeley and at Harvard University as a visiting scholar.

1984
Received the Honor Award in the General Design Category from Japan Society of Landscape Architecture.

1986
Became a director in the establishment of the Tokyo office of Keikan Sekkei Institute of Landscape Architecture.

1997
Began lecturing at the College of Bioresource Sciences, Nihon University.

1998
Spun off from the Institute of Landscape Architecture becoming the President of Keikan Sekkei Institute of Landscape Architecture Tokyo office.

2002
Visiting Professor at the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture, College of Art and Design, Louisiana State University.

2002-2005
Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) and a committee member of licensure system of landscape architecture.

2007
Elected Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

2008
Kitamura Award (Japanese Olmsted Award).

Graduated from Miyagi University, in Sendai Japan with Bachelor of Architecture degree.

2005
Graduated from the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University with a Masters degree of Landscape Architecture and joined Asakura Robinson Company, in Houston Texas.

2006
Joined TBG Partners, in Houston, the largest landscape firm in Texas as a landscape designer.

2009
Promoted to Associate, working on varieties of resort projects, large scale community masterplans, urban design, medical / educational amenity spaces as a project manager.

2010
Returned to Japan to establish TBG Tokyo Office as Director, currently promoting collaboration projects with Keikan Sekkei Tokyo in Asian and Pacific Region.

Joined Keikan Sekkei Institute of Landscape Architecture Tokyo Office, and appointed as Director.

Appointed as Executive Director.

Founded Takeda Landscape Design Office, collaborating with firms such as Nikken Sekkei in the design and development of parks, gardens, and public open spaces.

Joined Keikan Sekkei Tokyo Co., Ltd. working on various urban infill and urban housing projects as a Senior Project Manager.

Joined LandDesign Inc., and started working at the headquarter office in Charlotte, North Carolina as a landscape designer.

Promoted to Manager at LandDesign Inc., focusing on urban redevelopment projects, urban parks, and urban residential community master plans, both domestically and internationally.

2010
Returned to Japan to join Obayashi Corporation Architectural Design Division Landscape Architecture Studio, mainly working on urban residential and mixed use redevelopment projects in Tokyo.
